Cyprus Foreign Ministry completes projects for Schengen Visas
The Cyprus Foreign Ministry has completed the implementation of important projects co-funded by the European Commission, in the framework of the harmonization with the Schengen acquis, aiming at promoting actions related to the External Borders Fund.
According to an official press release, currently actions regarding annual 2012 and 2013 projects are under way.
In the framework of the 2011 annual project of the External Borders Fund, the installation, upgrading and extension of the national Visa System was fulfilled.
Moreover, work concerning building alterations and equipment installment was completed at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kuwait.
