More British are coming to Cyprus

Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) estimates there will be an increase in air travel from the United Kingdom, adding about 33,000 additional seats compared to last year.

Cyprus Tourism Organisation's optimism is based on high attendance at a recent ‘Destinations Holiday and Travel Show’ which was held in both London and Manchester.
CTO announced on Wednesday that there was plenty of visitors at their booth during the expo, where visitors showed strong interest in getting information and brochures for summer 2015 holidays in Cyprus.
Travel agents and holiday organisers in the UK are hinting at a 10-15% increase compared to reservations from last year, according to CTO.
CTO says it is “satisfied with the positive developments and it will intensify its efforts in the UK market”, adding that it is the biggest lifeline for the Cypriot tourist industry.
Total arrivals in 2014 were 871,00 from the United Kingdom, which translates into 36% of total arrivals, according to CTO.
